Watch: Ras Al Khaimah Police Air Wing rescues tourists stranded at 3,000 feet

The operation was launched after the Air Wing received a distress report from the operations room, alerting them to the situation.

The two tourists, both of Asian descent, were reported to be exhausted and in need of assistance. In response, an Air Wing helicopter was immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, the helicopter crew located the stranded individuals, provided them with the necessary support, and safely transported them back to the ground.

Both tourists were in good health upon rescue.
In a statement, Ras Al Khaimah Police urged mountaineers and tourists to exercise caution when exploring the emirate’s rugged terrain.

Authorities advised against venturing into dangerous areas or climbing to extreme altitudes, which could put lives at risk and complicate rescue operations.
